An opportunity to take surveying responsibility for a portfolio of UK Operations and Retail properties across a specific geographic region.
What you will be doing
The Building Surveyor will aim to drive efficiency, compliance, flexibility and future scalability through provision of effective corporate support services, applications, data management, purchasing by not only providing the services but working as a strategic business partner to the Property Department and other colleagues.
Whilst you will closely with the UK Operations & Retail Managers and building users, you will be supported by and work closely with the wider Property Department and the support team at the Red Cross' Shared Service Centre.

What we are looking for
Holding a Construction or Surveying qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS or qualified by experience, you should have experience in working in a similar role with substantial post qualification experience.
You should have experience of producing property inspections and reports, producing tender documents, arranging tenders and acting as Contract Administrator as well as producing and implementing planned preventative maintenance systems.
You should also have the ability to manage contractors and consultants as well as acting as the CDM coordinator.
