The Role:As Audit Manager, you ll play a key role in leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, working closely with clients, Partners, and junior staff. You'll manage a portfolio of audit clients, review work, coach and develop your team, and ensure top-quality delivery in line with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients (largely owner-managed businesses and SMEs)

Oversee audits from planning to completion

Lead, mentor and develop junior audit staff

Review work and ensure technical compliance and high-quality standards

Build and maintain excellent client relationships

Liaise directly with Partners and clients on strategic matters

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment

Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards

Confident managing a client portfolio and leading audit teams

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience
