FirstPort Job Role: Caretaker (Part-Time) Location: Ealing, London Job Sector: Property Services Salary: £25,000 p.a. Hours: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm (for Wednesday & Saturday 9am to 1pm) As Caretaker, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

About You You are a highly motivated individual with solid cleaning / caretaking experience, with a key emphasis on customer service. You are diligent and have a professional demeanour with the ability to build good relationships quickly. You have a strong working ethos and are always willing to go the extra mile.   • Acting as a Caretaker for two residential blocks, meeting and greeting residents and guest in a friendly, warm manner.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and up-keep of the buildings and grounds by thorough cleaning of both internal and external property.
  • Trimming palm trees once a month and maintain shrubs and hedges in planters.
  • Cleaning the underground and the external car park.
  • Rubbish clearance of external area of car park in front of shops and behind shops.
  • Monthly weed and feed of external areas in front of shops and behind.
  • Maintain hedges and shrub beds in car park in front of shops and behind once a month.
  • Assisting residents with any queries and any work, carry out general maintenance duties, i.e. - re-painting damaged walls, replacing light bulbs etc.
  • Assisting contractors with access
Skills and Experience
  • Energetic and dynamic Caretaker with a customer centric working ethos, someone who looks out for people's best interest and is always friendly and welcoming.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is a must, this can be other property caretaker roles or positions as a cleaner or gardener.
  • Must have good technical knowledge of building and ground maintenance.
  • The incumbent must be hard working and someone who takes pride in their work.
  • We are looking for someone with excellent customer services skills and the ability to build relationships quickly and manage expectations.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with external parties such as contractors.
  • Good general maintenance understanding such as changing light bulbs, painting walls etc.
  • Creative, resourceful with the ability to listen, consult and take on-board people's opinions and needs.
